Chiaksan (Mt.) is located on the southern end of the Charyeong Mountain Range and centered on the 1,288 Birobong (summit), Namdaebong, Hyangnobong and other high summits scrape the skies and is a tourist favorite for hikers. Since long ago, it was the greatest mountain of Dongak and contains temples with thousand year history such as Guryongsa and Sangwonsa.
