Introduction of Safe City |
| |
| The concept of safe city was officially placed in the limelight at the 1st Accident and Loss Prevention Conference held in Stockholm, Sweden in September 1989 and it is based on the declaration that “All people have the equal right to live a healthy and safe life.” Safe city does not mean that the local society is completely safe, but it means that the city is doing its best to enhance the awareness of safety among its community. |
